It's the little things that count

Posted on Jan 31st, 2006 by Aeon : Wizard Aeon
I just got my Burning Man tickets delivered. The envelope was a little fatter than I would have expected. When I opened it, there were some extra goodies in there: an atomic fireball and a lemonhead... whee!

Although I don't really eat candy anymore, it just goes to show that someone put in a little extra effort to make sure I had a good experience, and that they actually care.

One of the things I love most about development is the ability to respond to user feedack within a matter of hours. For example, on our zaadz tribe, someone mentioned that they didn't want to have the flag on their profile and I was able to create an option for that and turn it around within an hour.

This is the kind of thing that fires us up and it's why we were so successful at our last venture, eteamz. (notice the z!)

Every suggestion is important to us, no matter how small. So, let us know what you wanna see.

The fact that you guys love what you do – and the people you do it with/for – bursts through in every piece of communication.  I love it!  And, I’m sure it’s what makes you all so successful.  This zaadzster can’t express my gratitude enough.  Thank you for bringing yourselves fully to the game.  Your light attracts the great people who are here now, and all of those who are on their way.

I appreciate it as well. You’re an excellent CEO and Wizard Aaron. You make me wish I did know web design, just to help zaadz out. I’ll keep you updated on any and all ideas. Thank you for your work and your care.

I bought tickets early too. I’m pretty stoked to go. I’ve never been and have no idea what to truly expect. I think we’re gonna road trip down from Vancouver.

In case you were wondering about the candy…

a quote from the Jack Rabbit Speaks..

And heyyy….if you got an Atomic Fireball with your ticket, it’s okay
to eat it. The US Postal Service encouraged us to include something
small and solid like a piece of candy inside each package to ensure that
your signature-upon-delivery ticket package is processed by hand. Thus,
candy from the Ticket Team. As if the ticket design this year wasn’t
sweet enough, ya know?

Very cool. How about a zaadz online karaoke program of sorts.  Perhaps we could just play the black eyed peas continuously, and people could chime in and sing along whenever they feel like it. ;)

Thanks for all you do…

Asa a non- computer nerd and a relative newbie to all this blogging stuff, I'd love a help section for Dummies so I can learn how to navigate here as easily as possible. Ie, how to utilize tags and permalinks …including the easiest way to work with them (if there are several routes …like on the com[uter where you can use shortcut keys, cut and paste, or type in the same command.)

You're doing a great job..thanks

Definitely, response time is key to keeping the smile ratio up high. And I truly believe the whole Zaadz team are Podis.

Thanks for all the hard work!
